"Chapter Zero"

A Word on the Stories and Models:

The "Mission" of these tales is to tell a story, my version of the "History of Lego", as many have tried to do (and successfully so) before. That is nothing new, but there are some things that are new, and I'd like to share them with you before you read this story.

Like a lot of other people, I will be using the original castle sets to describe my "History of Lego", but I will not let the limited size and features of the sets constrain me in telling the stories. Actually, some of these stories were written without LEGO even in mind. LEGO did help though in that it helped my imagination, so I ended up incorporating the sets and themes, and coming up with the story I have now.

As such, you may find figures walking on the battlements of say... the "King's Castle", and it will truly be the King's Castle set. But don't be too shocked, awed (or pissed), when they go through a door and enter a magnificent banquet hall that could never actually fit in the King's Castle set. In order to tell "The History of Lego" as I'd like, I have to ask you to use your imagination a little. That's a good thing!

Giving Credit where Credit is Due:

This story has been a LONG time in the making, and so I've had the chance to borrow the ideas and designs of many other "Castle-Heads" in making my story. As that is the case, there are some parts of this story that I have used figs or designs from others, but I just CAN'T remember who or where I got them from. Or, maybe I forgot to note a contribution from someone while I was taking all the steps to write and publish this story.

PLEASE don't try to arrest me or send me nasty e-mails saying I am the worst person in the world and blah blah blah blah. I really don't mean to steal anything from anyone! Tell me if you know who I should thank for something I used, and I'll surely cite it
